The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India (GOI) has established National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organisation for conducting efficient, transparent and international standard test in order to access the competency of candidates for admission to premier higher education institutions.

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST (राष्ट्रीय पात्रता सह प्रवेश परीक्षा (यूजी)) is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses and other undergraduate medical courses in approved/recognized Medical/Dental & other Colleges/ Institutes in India.
एमबीबीएस / बीडीएस कोर्सेस आणि इतर वैद्यकीय पदवी अभ्यासक्रमांमध्ये भारतातील मान्यता प्राप्त वैद्यकीय / दंत आणि इतर महाविद्यालयांमध्ये प्रवेश घेण्यासाठी राष्ट्रीय परीक्षा एजन्सी (एनटीए- नॅशनल एलिजिबिलिटी कम् एंट्रान्स टेस्ट) द्वारे घेण्यात येते.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting Online Applications for NEET (UG)2025 for admission to the undergraduate medical courses in all medical institutions in India.
As per Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, the NEET (UG) has to be conducted as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET (UG)) for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions.
The NEET (UG)-2025 scores and merit list will also apply for admissions to BDS and BVSC & AH courses as followed in the past in accordance with the rules governed by respective regulatory bodies.
Similarly, as per Section 14 of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020, there shall be a uniform NEET (UG) for admission to undergraduate courses in each of the disciplines i.e. BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS courses of the Indian System of Medicine in all Medical Institutions governed under this Act. NEET (UG) shall also be applicable to admission to the BHMS course under the National Commission for Homeopathy.
MNS (Military Nursing Service) aspirants seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing Courses being conducted at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals for the year 2025 are required to qualify for NEET (UG). The NEET (UG) score will be used for shortlisting for selection to the four-year B.Sc. Nursing course.
The exam will be held on 04th May 2025 and the duration of the examination will be 180 minutes (03 hours) from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM (IST).
The NEET (UG) – 2025 will be conducted in 13 languages ie. Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

The eligibility criteria are as follows:
Age requirement
The candidates should be 17 years of age by 31st December 2024 to be eligible for the 2025 exam.
Nationality
The candidates must be Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, or foreign nationals.
Educational qualifications
Students who have cleared the 10+2 exam or equivalent are eligible to apply. Those appearing for the 12th exam can apply.
Subjects
To be eligible to apply for the exam, the candidate must be from the science stream, having studied chemistry, physics, biology, and English under a recognised board.
Qualification examination scores
The candidate must have secured a minimum of 50 percent in the 3 science subjects (chemistry, physics, biology). For reserved category candidates, the minimum requirement is 40 percent.
NEET 2025 Application Process
The process to apply for the NEET 2025 exam:

2) Click on New Registration under the Apply online link.
3) Read the instructions carefully.
4) Select the checkbox.
5) Click on the Proceed option.
6) Fill in the registration form.
7) Enter the security pin and click on submit.
8) Note down the application number.

10) Upload the required documents.
11) Pay the application fees.
